Your Posture Blueprint
What is a Posture Blueprint?
Just as everybody’s hand or foot print is unique, each person has a unique posture. Posture is a balancing act from the feet to the head. Our screening process comprises of a foot scan, a biomechanical assessment, and x-rays if necessary. Together this forms your posture blueprint and also rates your posture.
Daily Stresses
Some say posture is the window to the spine. Others would add that posture is truly a reflection of one’s health. We say that posture is the outward expression of the spinal structure inside. Weakness of the spine and daily aches and pain express themselves outwardly as poor posture.
Unknowingly, our daily activities may be stressing our joints or straining muscles and ligaments. Such stresses and strains over long periods of time cause our joints to wear down at an accelerated speed. Frequently, we just get old before our time. It has been said that posture is more a determiner of age than our chronological age.
Good posture is achieved by correcting the internal strains that are the causes of many problems.
What Can You Do?
Poor posture is not a condition, but an indication of muscle imbalances and hidden spinal dysfunctions that can cause a number of serious problems.
The good news is that good posture is achievable! By decreasing the internal stresses on the joints and strengthening the core, postural improvement can be made.
All you need to do is come in for a screening, learn your posture number, and we'll show you how to start improving your score.
